The Elf gracefully leaped forward and joined the fighter against the Nordein who now looked somewhat panicked by the sudden turn of events. The priest now free of the vines cast a healing that would keep the health of those near him for a few moments, and followed it by a potent prayer that strengthened the power of his partners. Their blows now struck faster and deeper as the Nordein fell under the fury of their vengeance.
They looked about for other foes and saw none. A panicked horse bolted from the nearby stable which was still somewhat intact, it's mind anxious from the scent of smoke and blood. The trio of survivors nearly killed the animal as they turned in unison prepared to drop this new foe in it's tracks. Instead of slaughter, laughter a mad, heartfelt laughter escaped first the fighter, the priest, and finally as realization struck the elf, he also laughed despite the sorrow, and pain of all that had transpired.
